CM Revanth on Differences with Mandakrishna: "He Trusts BJP More Than Me"
Revanth clarifies on alleged rift with MRPS leader Mandakrishna Madiga
Expresses disappointment over Mandakrishna's trust in Modi, Kishan Reddy
SC classification being implemented only in Telangana, says CM
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has addressed speculation about his differences with MRPS founder Mandakrishna Madiga. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Revanth clarified that there were no personal differences between them, but expressed his disappointment that Mandakrishna trusts Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Kishan Reddy more than him.
Revanth asserted that SC classification is not being implemented in any BJP-ruled state and that Telangana is the only state taking concrete steps towards it. He reassured that his government has already directed officials to halt new notifications until the matter is resolved legally.
He credited Rahul Gandhi for empowering him to push for a permanent solution to the SC classification issue and mentioned that a one-man commission has been established to prevent legal complications. The government has proposed dividing SCs into three groups to ensure fair representation and justice.
Highlighting past struggles, Revanth recalled how he and his party had demanded a resolution for SC classification but were suspended from the Assembly. He vowed to continue the fight until the Supreme Court delivers a favorable verdict on the matter.
Meanwhile, the Telangana government has already approved the SC classification bill in the Assembly, marking a significant step in the long-standing demand for justice in reservations.
