Andhra Pradesh State Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan launched a new RTC bus service connecting the prominent pilgrimage sites of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh and Palani in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The inauguration ceremony was held in Mangalagiri, where Vedic scholars performed religious prayers before the formal flag-off by Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy.

Responding to the long-standing requests from devotees, the government introduced this bus service to provide improved connectivity between the two sacred destinations. Addressing the gathering, Pawan Kalyan emphasized the government's commitment to enhancing transportation facilities for pilgrims, which will not only ease travel but also boost religious tourism. He acknowledged the cultural and spiritual significance of both Tirupati and Palani, highlighting that the new service will contribute to strengthening ties between the two regions.

State Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar, MLC Hari Prasad, MLA Arani Srinivasulu, Joint Chittoor District President Dr. Pasupuleti Hari Prasad, and Tirupati Jana Sena leaders were present at the event, expressing their appreciation for the initiative aimed at benefiting pilgrims. The dignitaries underscored the importance of promoting religious tourism and enhancing facilities for devotees visiting the two revered places.

The newly introduced bus service is expected to benefit thousands of devotees who regularly travel between Tirupati and Palani. Officials mentioned that the new route would facilitate easier and more comfortable travel for pilgrims, providing them with better access to the spiritual sites.
