High Court grants anticipatory bail to Sajjala and Bhargava Reddy
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted anticipatory bail to YSRCP leader Sajjala and his son Bhargava Reddy in connection with the case involving actor Posani Krishna Murali’s controversial remarks. Posani had made inappropriate comments targeting Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and their family members.
In a confessional statement, Posani alleged that he made the remarks based on a script and encouragement from Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy and Bhargava Reddy. Following this, the Obulavaripalle police were reportedly considering their arrest, prompting both to seek anticipatory bail from the High Court.
Hearing the petition, Justice K. Srinivasa Reddy granted them bail with conditions, directing them to provide two sureties of ₹10,000 each and to cooperate with the investigation.
