Bandi Sanjay urges TTD to begin Swamiji temple construction in Karimnagar

Bhoomi Pooja held in May 2023

No progress in construction till now

Seeks TTD Chairman’s intervention

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay has written a letter to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B.R. Naidu, requesting immediate commencement of construction work for the Swamiji temple in Padmanagar, Karimnagar.

He recalled that the Bhoomi Pooja for the temple was performed on May 31, 2023, but expressed disappointment that the construction has not begun even after several months. Calling the delay unfortunate, the Union Minister said the temple holds great spiritual and emotional significance for devotees across North Telangana.

In his letter, Bandi Sanjay stressed the need to respect the sentiments of devotees who have long awaited the establishment of the temple. He urged the TTD Chairman to personally intervene and take steps to start the pending construction works without further delay.

He also emphasized that the construction of the temple would serve as a spiritual hub for devotees and promote religious harmony in the region. Sanjay noted that the absence of any progress since the Bhoomi Pooja has led to concerns among followers, and the TTD should respond promptly to their expectations.

The Minister requested that all procedural or administrative hurdles be addressed swiftly so that construction can begin at the earliest. His appeal reflects the growing public demand to see the temple project come to life and become a prominent center of devotion in Karimnagar.
