A Bollywood actress was attacked in Hyderabad after resisting an attempt to force her into prostitution. According to police, a friend from Hyderabad contacted the actress on March 17, inviting her to the opening ceremony of a shop and offering to cover her travel expenses and pay her a fee. Believing the offer, she arrived in Hyderabad on March 18 and was accommodated in an apartment in Shyamnagar Colony, Masabtank. An elderly woman arranged her stay.
On the night of March 21, at around 9 PM, two women arrived at the apartment and pressured the actress to engage in prostitution with them. Later, at around 11 PM, three men forcibly entered her room and demanded that she spend time with them. When she refused, they assaulted her. As she raised an alarm and threatened to call the police, the men fled the scene.
Following this, the two women and the elderly woman locked the actress in the room and escaped, taking Rs. 50,000 in cash. The actress immediately contacted the police by dialing 100. A police team responded swiftly, rescuing her from the apartment. A case has been registered based on her complaint, and an investigation is currently underway.
