Elon Musk retakes top spot
The Forbes Billionaires List-2025 has been released, revealing that the number of billionaires worldwide has reached 3,028, an increase of 247 compared to last year. The combined wealth of these billionaires is estimated at $16.1 trillion, which is $2 trillion higher than in 2024. The United States leads the rankings with 902 billionaires, followed by China with 516 and India with 205.
Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries and the richest man in Asia, secured the 18th position with a net worth of $92.5 billion. Gautam Adani, who previously held a higher rank, has slipped to 28th place with a net worth of $56.3 billion.
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has reclaimed the top spot on the list with a net worth of $342 billion. Mark Zuckerberg of Meta is ranked second with $216 billion, followed by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos with $215 billion.
