In a welcome move for businesses, oil companies have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders by ₹41 across the country. The revised prices were implemented today, April 1, as part of the monthly price review conducted by oil companies.
With the reduction, the price of a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder is now ₹1,762 in Delhi, ₹1,985 in Hyderabad, ₹1,921 in Chennai, and ₹1,713 in Mumbai. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinders, which remains unchanged for this month.
The announcement has been met with relief by many in the hospitality and commercial sectors, who rely heavily on commercial gas cylinders for their operations.
