SC Classification Progress Due to Two Key Figures, Says Pawan Kalyan

SC classification bill debated in AP Assembly

Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan credits Chandrababu & Manda Krishna

Jana Sena supports NDA government’s SC classification bill

A crucial discussion on the SC classification bill took place in the AP Assembly, where Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan addressed the House. He asserted that the progress in SC classification is largely due to the relentless efforts of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and MRPS founding president Manda Krishna Madiga.

Pawan Kalyan stated that Manda Krishna Madiga initiated the movement, and Chandrababu Naidu played a key role in advancing it. He highlighted that extensive deliberations had taken place over time regarding unrecognized castes and that he himself had engaged in discussions with Dalit intellectuals to understand the issue better.

Commending Manda Krishna’s bold stance, he pointed out that adding caste names to surnames is usually observed among upper castes, but Manda Krishna challenged norms by adopting this practice. Pawan Kalyan also shed light on the demographic variations between Mala and Madiga communities, noting that Malas are predominant in Andhra Pradesh, while Madigas have a larger presence in Telangana.

He emphasized that SC classification must be done with careful balance, considering the regional caste dynamics. Finally, he declared that Jana Sena fully supports the SC classification bill brought forward by the NDA coalition government led by Chandrababu Naidu.
