Deputation extended till February 25, now concluded
The Andhra Pradesh government has sent Vasudeva Reddy, who was on deputation in the state, back to his parent department in Railways following allegations of liquor-related irregularities.
Vasudeva Reddy, who came to Andhra Pradesh on deputation in August 2019, completed his deputation term on August 25 last year. Amid allegations of liquor scams, the state government requested the Center to extend his deputation for another year.
The deputation was extended until February 25 this year. With the extension now concluded, Vasudeva Reddy has been returned to his parent department in Railways.
