BRS MLA Jagadish Reddy Warns Congress Govt Over Assembly Suspension
BRS MLA protests alleged arbitrary suspension
Demands an official bulletin explaining his removal
Accuses Congress ministers of misusing resources
BRS MLA and former minister Jagadish Reddy on Monday lashed out at the Congress government, accusing it of running the assembly with force. Speaking to the media in the assembly premises, he demanded clarity on his alleged suspension, questioning why an official bulletin was not issued regarding the action taken against him.
Jagadish Reddy criticized the Congress leadership, stating, "The assembly is being run without any procedure, ignoring constitutional values and rules. They claim I am suspended, yet there is no official reason or bulletin. If there was a valid reason, they would have provided one. They fear I will challenge it in court."
He also took a dig at ministers from Nalgonda district, accusing them of extravagance. He alleged that Congress leaders were unnecessarily using helicopters for short trips. Citing an instance, he claimed that senior leader Jana Reddy traveled by helicopter to attend a private gathering in Jan Pahad, despite the journey being manageable by car.
Jagadish Reddy warned the ruling party that running assembly sessions arbitrarily would not be tolerated and vowed to continue questioning their actions.
