High Court Dismisses Case Against Union Minister Bandi Sanjay

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay secured a major relief as the High Court dismissed a case filed against him. The case was registered during the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections after complaints were lodged, alleging that he made remarks inciting religious hatred at an activists’ meeting.

Following these complaints, the Secunderabad Market Police registered a case and later filed a charge sheet against Bandi Sanjay. However, during Thursday’s hearing, his lawyer argued that there was no substantial evidence proving that his statements incited religious hatred and that the case was registered without proper grounds.

After reviewing the arguments, the High Court ruled in favor of Bandi Sanjay, stating that the case was filed without evidence and ordered its dismissal. This decision comes as a major relief for the Union Minister.
