Hailstorm to Continue in AP for Four More Days
Meteorological department warns of unseasonal rains
Cumulonimbus clouds to cause thunderstorms and gusty winds
Surface circulation from Vidarbha to Tamil Nadu
Unseasonal rains and hailstorms have caused severe damage to crops in several districts of Andhra Pradesh, leaving farmers in distress. The Meteorological Department has warned that this situation is likely to continue for another four days, with thunderstorms and strong winds expected.
According to officials, cumulonimbus clouds are responsible for the thunderstorms, while a surface circulation from Vidarbha to Tamil Nadu, extending up to 1.5 km above sea level, is influencing the weather patterns. Authorities have advised people to take precautions and stay away from trees during thunderstorms to avoid lightning strikes.
With crops already suffering extensive damage, farmers are deeply concerned about further losses. The government is expected to assess the situation and provide necessary support to affected farmers.
