Does Revanth Reddy have the guts to send bulldozers to My Home Group?: Kavitha Challenge
Kavitha says land handed to My Home Group is a 'millennium joke'
Challenges Revanth Reddy to act if Congress allegations are true
Accuses Revanth Reddy of neglecting BC groups' agitation
BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, questioning whether he has the courage to send bulldozers to My Home Group amid allegations of improper land allocations. She described the claims that Hyderabad Central University (HCU) lands were handed over to My Home Group during the BRS regime as a “millennium joke.” Kavitha demanded that if Congress leaders’ allegations are true, bulldozers should be sent to reclaim the land.
Kavitha alleged that the chairman of My Home Group is aligned with the BJP and maintains close ties with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She questioned why bulldozers targeting the homes of the poor are not sent to influential figures. According to her, the previous BRS government protected 400 acres of HCU land from falling into private hands through legal interventions as directed by KCR.
She further criticized Revanth Reddy’s government, accusing it of scripting a strategy to shelve the BC bill passed by the assembly. She remarked that Revanth Reddy, who once promised to take the party to Delhi for increasing BC reservations, neglected the all-party meeting and instead attended a BC unions' dharna in Delhi.
Kavitha questioned why AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi did not attend the BC groups' protest, accusing Rahul Gandhi of remaining silent on the alleged failures of the Revanth Reddy government. She also alleged that Revanth Reddy is attempting to run the government by selling 400 acres of land and expressed concern over the Gachibowli area turning into a concrete jungle.
