CM Revanth’s Call to Congress Leaders: Take Welfare Schemes to the People
CM Revanth Reddy highlights Indiramma House Scheme as a national model
Urges party leaders to promote government schemes directly at field level
Asserts PM Modi is rattled by Telangana’s welfare initiatives
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy issued clear directives to Congress leaders during a Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, emphasizing the importance of taking government welfare schemes directly to the people. He stated that the Congress government had provided lasting solutions to many long-standing issues, setting a new benchmark for governance.
CM Revanth particularly praised the Indiramma House Scheme, calling it a role model for the nation. “These houses must reach all eligible beneficiaries at the field level,” he stressed, adding that public awareness and proper implementation are crucial to its success.
He also lauded the Bhu Bharati initiative, urging leaders to spread awareness among farmers about its benefits. “It’s essential that schemes like Bhu Bharati are taken to every farmer to ensure they receive the rightful support,” he said.
Referring to the distribution of fine-quality small rice, CM Revanth described it as a "wonderful scheme" that showcases the state’s commitment to the welfare of common people. He reiterated that the government's focus should be on field-level implementation and accountability.
In a strong political message, the Chief Minister said, “The prestige of the party and government must rise—only then will there be a future.” He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that Modi is being “choked” by the range and depth of schemes being implemented in Telangana. He further claimed that categorisation issues have become a stumbling block for the Prime Minister.
With the state gearing up for major developmental milestones, CM Revanth’s message was clear: the Congress leadership must stand united, amplify the government's achievements, and ensure the schemes translate into real impact on the ground.
