Good News for Telugu States, Greenfield Express Highway Gets Green Signal From Center

Centre approves Greenfield Express Highway between Hyderabad and Amaravati

Project aims to boost connectivity between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

DPR preparation to begin soon; Amaravati Ring Road also on fast track

In a major infrastructure push for the Telugu states, the NDA government at the Centre has approved the construction of a Greenfield Express Highway between Hyderabad and Amaravati. This move is aimed at strengthening road connectivity between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, enhancing economic ties and easing travel between the two capitals.

According to official sources, the Centre has given the green signal for the ambitious express highway project and preparations for the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) are set to begin shortly. Once the DPRs are finalized, the construction work will commence in a phased manner.

The new expressway is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Hyderabad and Amaravati while promoting regional development and trade. It will also improve logistics and transportation of goods, benefitting industries and commuters alike.

Alongside the expressway, plans are also in motion to accelerate work on the much-awaited Amaravati Ring Road. Sources reveal that permissions have been cleared to start construction from the northern section of the proposed Ring Road, which will serve as a key link to the upcoming highway.

The expressway and Ring Road together are expected to transform road infrastructure in the region and provide a much-needed boost to both state economies. With this green signal, both Telugu states move one step closer to improved connectivity and development.
