TDP MLA Demands Govt to Reclaim Ramanaidu Studio Lands

TDP MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu has urged the Andhra Pradesh government to reclaim the lands allotted for Ramanaidu Studio in Visakhapatnam, citing alleged misuse. Speaking in the AP Assembly, he stated that 35 acres of land were originally allotted for the development of the film industry, but 15.17 acres were being converted into layouts for sale instead of being used for their intended purpose.

Highlighting his legal intervention to halt these land sales, the Visakhapatnam East MLA pressed for immediate government action. He demanded that the government take back the misused land and ensure that such allocations are strictly used for their designated purpose.

The issue has sparked fresh debates over land allocations and their proper utilization, with the MLA emphasizing the need for strict monitoring and accountability in land allotments meant for public and industrial development.
