NDA MPs meet every three months to discuss constituency issues

Request made for aerospace and defence industries in AP

Union Ministers offer guidance on policy and development

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Shivanath (Chinni) participated in the NDA MPs' meeting chaired by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri in Delhi. The NDA government has instructed Union Ministers to meet NDA MPs in groups every three months to discuss constituency issues, the implementation of central schemes, and funding requirements.

During a dinner meeting at Hardeep Singh Puri’s residence, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attended as the chief guest. On this occasion, MP Kesineni Shivanath urged Rajnath Singh to support Andhra Pradesh in attracting aerospace and defence industries, to which the Union Minister responded positively. He also briefed Hardeep Singh Puri on the development initiatives required for the Vijayawada Parliamentary constituency.

Union Ministers Hardeep Singh Puri and Rajnath Singh provided suggestions on parliamentary policies and constituency development. In a statement, Kesineni Shivanath expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended by Hardeep Singh Puri and his wife, former UN Assistant Secretary-General Lakshmi Murdeshwar Puri, who prepared South Indian dishes for the guests.

The meeting was attended by several MPs from different states, including Bastipati Nagaraju Panchalingala (TDP, AP), V Satish (BJP, Delhi), Bharatsinh Dabhi Thakur (BJP, Gujarat), B Y Raghavendra (BJP, Karnataka), and others from Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, and Assam.
