Police grant permission for extended operating hours
New timing applicable across Vijayawada and NTR district
State Hotels Association welcomes the decision
Hotels and restaurants in Vijayawada will now be allowed to operate until midnight. The city police, along with authorities in NTR district, have granted permission for the extension, which came into effect from Sunday night.
State Hotels Association President R.V. Swamy stated that they had been requesting this extension for a long time to accommodate public convenience and support the hospitality industry. The new regulation is expected to benefit both businesses and late-night diners across the region.
