Promise Fulfilled: Dy CM Pawan Kalyan Expresses Happiness Over Pithapuram ROB Sanction

₹59.70 crore sanctioned for road over bridge

Administrative approvals received for construction

Pawan Kalyan thanks PM Modi, Nitin Gadkari, and CM Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Pithapuram MLA Pawan Kalyan expressed happiness over the approval of funds and permissions for the construction of a road over bridge (ROB) in the constituency. He recalled that he had promised this project during the election campaign and is now glad to see it materializing.

The government has sanctioned ₹59.70 crore for the ROB on the Uppada-Samarlakota road, which has long been a bottleneck due to the railway crossing. Pawan Kalyan emphasized that once completed, the bridge will ease traffic congestion, reduce travel time, and significantly benefit the people.

The construction of this bridge falls under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund’s 'Setu Bandhan' scheme. Pawan Kalyan extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and State R&B Minister BC Janardhan Reddy for their support in securing the project. He expressed hope that the work would be completed swiftly to serve the public.
