Gajwel Congress Leaders Demand KCR’s Membership Cancellation
Congress leaders from Gajwel meet CM Revanth Reddy
Demand cancellation of former CM KCR’s assembly membership
Plan to submit a petition to the Governor at Raj Bhavan
A large number of Congress leaders and activists from Gajwel constituency, led by Congress leader Narsa Reddy, met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad. They urged him to take action against former Chief Minister and BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) for his continuous absence from the state assembly sessions.
The leaders alleged that KCR, who represents Gajwel as an MLA, has not been fulfilling his legislative responsibilities. They argued that his prolonged absence is a violation of democratic norms and demanded that his membership be revoked.
Following their meeting with the Chief Minister, the Gajwel Congress leaders announced their plan to visit Raj Bhavan and submit a formal petition to the Governor, seeking action against KCR. The issue is expected to intensify political tensions in Telangana as Congress leaders continue to press for strict measures against the former CM.
