Director Ram Gopal Varma dismissed rumors about his involvement in the upcoming film Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Speculation had been circulating that Varma would play a special character in the highly anticipated project.
Responding to the reports, Varma stated that he has been hearing such news for a long time but confirmed that there is no truth to it. He mentioned that while he knows Ashwini Dutt and Prabhas well, his previous appearance in Kalki was merely a playful request made by them.
Varma also shared his surprise at the audience's reaction to his role in Kalki, acknowledging that it was done in good humor. He reiterated that he has no plans to act in Spirit and dismissed the rumors as mere speculation.
