TDP and BRS Completed 25 Years in Telugu States, Says KTR
BRS Silver Jubilee to be celebrated in Warangal
Only TDP and BRS ruled for 25 years
KTR slams Revanth for targeting ex-CM KCR
BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) asserted that only TDP and BRS have achieved the distinction of ruling for 25 years in the Telugu states. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, he revealed that this milestone is the reason behind the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations, which are set to take place on a grand scale in Warangal.
He stated that BRS is the largest party in Telangana after TDP when considering the longevity of political leadership. Elaborating on the upcoming celebrations, KTR said the event will be held in Elkathurthi, Warangal, with arrangements spread over 1,200 acres. He noted that RTC had given in-principle approval to provide 3,000 buses for transporting participants, and the gathering would be the biggest in the party's history.
After the public meeting, BRS will initiate digital membership registration for activists and students. Following this, the party will hold elections for the party president and form state and district-level committees. KTR added that district-wise training programs would follow and plans are in place to conduct one event every month for the next year. If the government denies permission for the public meeting, KTR said they are prepared to approach the court for approval.
Turning to political issues, KTR accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of planning to implicate former CM KCR in cases. He referenced recent farmer protests in Lagacharla and student demonstrations at Hyderabad Central University as signs of growing public dissatisfaction.
He welcomed Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s statement on withdrawing cases against students but expressed concern over environmental issues, alleging that 100 acres of HCU lands were flattened, driving animals onto city roads. The remarks signal BRS’s intent to intensify both political and public engagement in the coming months.
