I’m Not in a Position to Invite Harish Rao into Congress: MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy

Rahul Gandhi praised Revanth Reddy’s governance in Telangana, says Chamala

Accuses Harish Rao of spreading venomous propaganda against Congress

Demands BRS appoint a BC leader as party president on its foundation day

Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy made sharp remarks against BRS senior leader Harish Rao, stating that he is not in a position to invite the MLA into the Congress party. Addressing the media in Hyderabad, Chamala claimed that Harish Rao has a one-sided love for his uncle KCR, but that affection is not reciprocated.

He strongly defended the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that Rahul Gandhi himself appreciated the governance in Telangana during the recent AICC meeting in Ahmedabad. He alleged that Harish Rao is engaging in venomous propaganda to tarnish the Congress image despite visible development.

Addressing Rahul Gandhi’s absence at the Congress BC declaration in Delhi, Chamala clarified that it was due to a lack of communication, not neglect. Turning the tables, he questioned BRS’s internal democracy and demanded that on the occasion of the party’s 25th foundation day, a BC leader be appointed as the party president.

He lashed out at Harish Rao, describing him as someone who "can neither see nor hear" the realities around him. He also took a dig at Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, saying that once he steps into Telangana from Delhi, he will be reduced to the stature of a corporator.

Chamala concluded by stressing that hardworking party workers should be recognized, regardless of their affiliations, and accused Harish Rao of merely being a puppet commander-in-chief in KCR’s political setup.
