Statue unveiled at a real estate venture in Guntur, honoring Tata's contributions

AP Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghurama krishnam Raju has demanded that late industrialist Ratan Tata be awarded the Bharat Ratna, the nation's highest civilian honor. Raghurama made this statement while unveiling a statue of Ratan Tata at a new real estate venture in Guntur. On this occasion, he lauded Tata for his immense contributions not just to the business world but also to society as a whole.

Raghurama described Ratan Tata as a great humanitarian, highlighting his invaluable services in the fields of education and healthcare. He emphasized that Tata's legacy of selfless service to the nation should never be forgotten. Raghurama also revealed that he had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi four years ago, urging him to confer the Bharat Ratna upon Tata for his unparalleled contributions.

While acknowledging that the honor might not be granted immediately, Raghurama asserted that Ratan Tata remains a "gem" in the hearts of every Indian, regardless of official recognition. The unveiling of the statue was a significant moment, as Raghurama noted that idols of gods are typically installed in such ventures, but Tata's statue stood as a tribute to his extraordinary legacy.
