BJP MP Laxman Slams Revanth Reddy Over BJP Criticism

Says Congress governments are like a “nose that blows off when sneezed”

Asserts Congress will be ousted like Razakars during Nizam rule

Claims Congress leaders have inherited British legacy, not BJP

BJP MP and senior leader K Laxman came down heavily on Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader Revanth Reddy over his remarks against the BJP. Revanth had stated during the Congress Working Committee meeting in Ahmedabad that the BJP would not be allowed to grow in Telangana—a comment that has now sparked political backlash.

Responding to these statements, K Laxman ridiculed the strength of Congress-ruled states, saying, “The Congress governments in Telangana, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh are like a nose that blows off when you sneeze.” He claimed these regimes are weak and will collapse under their own weight.

Drawing a historical analogy, Laxman said that Congress would be thrown out of the country just like the Razakars were ousted from Telangana during the Nizam era. He predicted that Revanth Reddy would be the last Congress Chief Minister of Telangana, and asserted that the party had no future in the state.

Hitting back at Revanth’s claim that BJP leaders are inheritors of British legacy, Laxman countered, saying it was in fact Congress leaders who carried forward the traditions of British colonial rule, not the BJP. He accused Revanth and Congress of showing intolerance and insecurity, particularly in the face of the BJP’s rising national popularity.

He also criticized Rahul Gandhi, stating that his baseless allegations stem from panic and political anxiety ahead of the elections.
