Revanth, KTR Planning Another Meet, Alleges Bandi Sanjay
Revanth accused of shielding KTR from jail
Both voted against Waqf Board Amendment Bill
KTR didn’t contest MLC to help Revanth, says Bandi sanjay
Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay launched a scathing attack on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, alleging a secret political understanding with BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR). Sanjay claimed that Revanth is protecting KTR from legal consequences and hinted at a growing collusion between the Congress and BRS parties.
Speaking to the media, Bandi Sanjay said both leaders had previously met at a Chennai event on constituency delimitation and are now planning to meet again in Hyderabad on the same issue. He alleged that such coordination is not in the interest of Telangana and accused them of forming a covert alliance.
He further stated that both Congress and BRS MPs had voted against the Waqf Board Amendment Bill in Parliament, suggesting that this was part of a broader understanding between the two parties. “They are even planning to ensure a win for the Majlis Party candidate in the Hyderabad MLC elections,” Sanjay charged.
Sanjay also accused KTR of not fielding a BRS candidate in the recent MLC polls to indirectly help Revanth Reddy. He criticized KTR for ignoring the repeated electoral setbacks faced by BRS and claimed that despite being taught lessons by the people, the party leadership remains arrogant.
He went on to allege that KTR and Revanth are conspiring together to weaken the BJP’s prospects in the state. Asserting his position, Bandi Sanjay challenged the state government, asking if it would agree to a CBI probe into the alleged irregularities concerning lands belonging to the University of Hyderabad.
The comments have added a fresh layer of political drama in Telangana, with speculations swirling about shifting alliances and backdoor deals ahead of crucial electoral and policy decisions.
