Entire Telangana Looking Towards KCR, Says Harish Rao
Harish Rao said people have realized the difference between BRS and Congress governance within a year.
Accused CM Revanth Reddy of misleading people on schemes like Rythu Bandhu and loan waivers.
Massive arrangements underway for BRS Silver Jubilee meeting in Warangal on April 27.
As the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) gears up for its grand Silver Jubilee meeting in Warangal on April 27, senior party leader and former minister T. Harish Rao has made sharp remarks against the Congress government, claiming that the entire state of Telangana is now looking towards former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for direction and leadership.
Speaking ahead of the party’s milestone event, Harish Rao said that within just one year of Congress rule, the people have clearly understood the difference between the BRS and the current administration. “Now they know what was in the milk and what was in the water,” he said, metaphorically referring to the clarity people have gained about governance.
He strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, stating that he is more focused on making hollow promises than on delivering results. “Earlier they said LRS would be free, now they are collecting money. Revanth talks a lot, but does very little,” Rao stated. He further accused the Congress leadership of spreading lies about flagship welfare schemes such as Rythu Bandhu and loan waivers.
Harish Rao alleged that KCR was the leader who upheld the spirit and identity of Telangana, while Revanth Reddy has only brought it down. He blamed the Chief Minister for the reduction in the state's GST share and questioned his contribution at the national level, saying even Revanth’s efforts in Delhi have come to a halt.
Calling the current regime a "half-and-half rule," Harish Rao urged people to wait and observe the growing disillusionment. He emphasized that the upcoming Silver Jubilee celebration will mark the resurgence of BRS under KCR’s leadership and reaffirm the party's commitment to Telangana's progress.
