The much-awaited supernatural thriller Odela 2, starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead, is set for a worldwide theatrical release on April 17, 2025. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film marks the second installment in the Odela franchise, following Odela Railway Station.
Announcing the release date, Sampath Nandi Teamworks shared on social media, “When darkness reigns and hope fades, 'Shiva Shakti' awakens. #Odela2 Grand release worldwide on April 17th. Get ready for a divine thriller on the big screens.”
The teaser, which was recently unveiled, showcases a gripping conflict between divine and dark forces. With a haunting tagline—“When the devil returns to haunt, the divine too returns”—the film promises a spine-chilling cinematic experience. One striking dialogue in the teaser, spoken by the dark force, states, “Water, fire, air, earth, and sky… all five elements are slaves to my might.” The visuals hint at an intense battle where divine power rises to combat evil.
Produced by D Madhu, Odela 2 features music by Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Soundar Rajan, with Rajeev Nair handling art direction. Tamannaah plays the role of a Saadhvi for the first time in her career, adding to the intrigue. The cast also includes Hebbah Patel, Dayanand Reddy, Murali Sharma, Sharath Lohitashwa, Srikanth Iyengar, and several others.
