The much-awaited mythological epic Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Manchu Vishnu, has locked its new release date. The makers officially announced that the film will hit screens worldwide on June 27. The new release date was revealed in a grand manner with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiling the poster.
Senior actor Manchu Mohan Babu, hero Manchu Vishnu, and renowned choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva met the Chief Minister in Lucknow to present the project. On this occasion, CM Yogi Adityanath unveiled the official release date poster and extended his best wishes to the movie team.
Originally scheduled to release on April 25, Kannappa was postponed due to pending VFX work. With the updated timeline now in place, the team is aiming for a massive multi-language release. The teaser, trailer, and songs released earlier have received a highly positive response from fans and critics alike, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.
Kannappa features Preethi Mukundan as the female lead opposite Manchu Vishnu.
