Hyderabad is experiencing its hottest days of March this year as summer temperatures continue to rise. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Hyderabad, temperatures are expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius in 15 districts of Telangana.
The affected districts include Adilabad, Kothagudem, Jagitial, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Khammam, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, and Wanaparthy.
Weather enthusiast T. Balaji has also warned residents to avoid outdoor activities between 12 PM and 3 PM, particularly in North and East Telangana where the heat is expected to be severe. An orange alert has been issued for the 15 districts due to the anticipated high temperatures.
On March 27, Hyderabad recorded a temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius, with the highest temperature of 41 degrees Celsius reported in Adilabad. Nalgonda, Jagtial, Mancherial, and Jogulamba Gadwal also recorded temperatures of 40.9 degrees Celsius.
Residents are urged to take precautions against heat-related illnesses as summer continues to intensify across the state.
