CM Naidu’s Cold Shoulder to Thiruvur MLA Kolikapudi Sparks Buzz

CM avoids interaction with Kolikapudi during Nandigama tour

TDP High Command unhappy with recent controversies in Thiruvur

MLA sidelined as Chandrababu engages only with key leaders

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu gave a strong signal to Thiruvur TDP MLA Kolikapudi Srinivas during his recent tour of Nandigama. After landing by helicopter, Chandrababu interacted warmly with several senior party leaders who had gathered to welcome him—but pointedly ignored Kolikapudi, who was standing nearby.

Eyewitnesses noted that although Chandrababu greeted other leaders with handshakes and brief conversations, he glanced at Kolikapudi sternly and moved on without acknowledging him. Visibly dejected, Kolikapudi quietly stepped back and remained on the sidelines.

This cold shoulder comes at a time when the TDP High Command is reportedly displeased with the recent controversies surrounding the Thiruvur constituency. Sources indicate that Kolikapudi’s handling of local party affairs and his name being involved in internal conflicts have drawn criticism from the leadership.

The incident has fueled speculation within party circles about Kolikapudi’s standing and future role in the constituency. With the high command keeping a close watch, political observers believe this snub is more than just a public slight—it’s a clear message from the top brass.
