Bandi Sanjay Slams Congress Govt Over Modi Flexis

Bandi Sanjay says Modi government is funding rice distribution

Questions why PM Modi’s flexis are being torn despite central aid

Says there’s no objection to Revanth Reddy's photo, but PM deserves credit

Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay strongly criticized the Congress-led Telangana government, accusing it of disrespecting the Prime Minister despite receiving central assistance. Speaking at an event in Narsampet, Warangal district, Sanjay expressed outrage that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s portraits were being torn down even though the rice being distributed in the state was funded by the central government.

He stated that regardless of what the Congress government claims, the rice being given to beneficiaries is essentially “Modi rice,” as it is made possible through central schemes. Bandi Sanjay said there is no issue if Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s photo is used in the promotion, but demanded that Prime Minister Modi’s photo should also be displayed in recognition of his government’s contribution.

The Union Minister alleged that BJP workers who set up banners featuring Modi were facing opposition from the police, allegedly acting under Congress instructions. He accused the state government of lacking basic decency and asked what financial share Telangana had in the rice scheme.

Bandi Sanjay reminded that even during the BRS regime, the BJP had been consistently demanding the distribution of fine quality rice to beneficiaries. He asserted that the BJP’s long-standing demand is finally being realized, but the Congress government is trying to take sole credit, which he described as misleading and unfair.
