Telangana Minister Sridhar Babu stated that the decisions made by former US President Donald Trump to impose tariffs on products from various countries have turned out to be beneficial for India in certain ways. Speaking as the chief guest at the second edition of the "India-Latin America and Caribbean Countries Business Conclave" organized by the Global India Business Forum (GIBF) at Park Hyatt, the Minister emphasized that this geopolitical shift has opened up new opportunities for Indian industry.

He pointed out that many international industrialists, in light of changing global trade policies, are now looking towards India as a promising investment destination. “Our government is committed to transforming this global situation into an advantage for India by attracting more investments,” Sridhar Babu said.

Highlighting Telangana's role in this context, he said the state is set to play a significant role in boosting the national economy. “We have introduced a special policy to help Telangana MSMEs compete on a global stage,” he added.

The Minister also assured that the state government will extend complete support to those who come forward to invest in Telangana. He revealed that six international companies, including three from South Korea, have shown interest in investing in the upcoming NIMS project in Zaheerabad.

He stressed that Telangana offers favorable conditions for industries to thrive and said the state is actively engaging with global investors to showcase its potential.
