Shocking Anakapalle Murder Case: Police Identify Victim as Hijra

The brutal murder of a woman whose severed limbs were found in Anakapalle has sent shockwaves through the region. The police have identified the victim as Dileef alias Deepa, a hijra, who had been secretly living with a man named Bunny in Nagulapalli, Munagapaka Mandal for the past four years.
Investigations revealed that Deepa’s dismembered body parts were scattered—with some found under Bayyavaram bridge and others near Anakapalle Diet College. Police formed eight teams to crack the case and discovered that Deepa had been staying away from the hijra community for a long time. The primary suspect, Bunny, has been arrested, with officials suspecting domestic disputes as the motive behind the gruesome crime.
The case has raised concerns among the hijra community, as this is the third murder in recent times in the Anakapalle region, with another person severely injured in an acid attack. Members of the hijra community are demanding justice, highlighting the lack of action in previous cases of violence against them.
