CM Naidu Pays Tribute to Babu Jagjivan Ram on Birth Anniversary
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu paid heartfelt tribute to freedom fighter and former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram on his birth anniversary on Saturday. He garlanded Jagjivan Ram’s portrait at the CM’s camp office in Amaravati, recalling his contributions to social justice and national development.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Naidu hailed Jagjivan Ram as a visionary leader who championed the cause of equality, empowerment of the marginalised, and inclusive growth. He said the values upheld by Jagjivan Ram remain relevant today, especially in the government's mission to ensure development for all sections of society.
The Chief Minister stated that his government is committed to upholding the ideals of great leaders like Babu Jagjivan Ram by creating opportunities for the underprivileged and strengthening democratic values across the state.
CM Naidu was accompanied by senior officials and members of the Cabinet during the tribute.
