The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has suffered yet another setback in Andhra Pradesh as MLC Marri Rajasekhar resigned from his position and party membership. His resignation marks the fifth such exit from the party in recent times, signaling increasing dissatisfaction within YSRCP ranks.
Earlier, MLCs Pothula Sunitha, Karri Padmasree, Jayamangala Venkataramana, and Balli Kalyana Chakravarthy had also resigned, citing various concerns. With Marri Rajasekhar's departure, the list of discontented YSRCP MLCs continues to grow, raising questions about internal stability ahead of the upcoming elections.
