The Election Commission has released the schedule for the Hyderabad local bodies MLC elections as the term of MLC MS Prabhakar is set to end on May 1.
According to the schedule, the election notification will be issued on March 28, and candidates must file their nominations by April 4. The scrutiny of nominations will take place on April 7, with a deadline of April 9 for withdrawals. The polling is scheduled for April 23, and the election results will be declared on April 25.
With the election process now officially underway, political parties are expected to intensify their campaigns in the coming days.
