Hyderabad Metro Rail Corporation has announced extended service timings for metro trains starting from April 1, providing relief to passengers, especially those working in the IT corridor. Trains, which currently operate from 6 AM to 10.45 PM, will now run until 11.45 PM from Monday to Friday.
On Saturdays and Sundays, metro services will start at 7 AM and continue until 11 PM, officials confirmed. The decision comes as a response to the increasing number of passengers using the metro system.
Additionally, the special offer allowing students to pay for 20 trips and avail 30 trips has been extended until March 31, 2026. Meanwhile, the Super Saver Holiday Offer (SSO) and Off-Peak Offer, which began in April 2024, are set to end on Sunday.
In related news, the Metro Art Fest held for three days at the Premium Mall at Erramanzil Metro Station concluded successfully on Saturday, with participation from Metro MD NVS Reddy and L&T MD KVB Reddy at the closing ceremony.
