Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu participated in the “Ugadi Awards” ceremony organized at Tummalapalli Kalakshetra in Vijayawada, where he presented awards to 202 individuals who excelled in various fields. During his speech, CM Chandrababu highlighted his vision for Andhra Pradesh’s future, focusing on welfare, development, and good governance.
He stressed that God desires a prosperous future for the people of Andhra Pradesh, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan wish for India to lead the world. Chandrababu expressed hope that the Telugu people would gain the strength to guide the nation to the top.
Recounting his government’s efforts, the Chief Minister said, “We are moving forward with the slogan of Andhra Pradesh people first. Despite financial difficulties, we have allocated a budget of Rs. 3.22 lakh crores.” He elaborated on his commitment to promoting innovation, citing achievements like WhatsApp governance and the establishment of a high-tech city in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister reiterated his ambition for Andhra Pradesh to outpace even the Telugu community in America within 25 years, aspiring to create a state free from poverty and rich with opportunities.
After his speech, CM Chandrababu presented Kala Ratna awards to 86 recipients and Ugadi awards to 116 individuals for their exemplary services. Notable awardees in journalism included Andhra Jyothi News Editor K. Naga Sudhakar, Swathi Editor Vemuri Balaram, Eenadu Editor M. Nageswara Rao, and others. Former TANA Presidents Komati Jayaram and CH Mastanayya were also recognized for their contributions in the field of service.
