KTR's Press Meet Was All Hype, No Substance: MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy

“He dug up a mountain and didn’t even catch a mouse,” says MP

Mocks KTR’s claims, says not even an ‘onion bomb’ was dropped

Criticizes the publicity surrounding the press conference

MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy launched a scathing attack on BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao following his much-publicized press meet, stating that the event was high on drama but delivered nothing of substance. Responding to the expectations built around the press conference, the MP used sharp satire to dismiss KTR’s claims.

“After watching the press meet, I realized he dug up a mountain and didn’t even catch a mouse,” Kiran Kumar Reddy remarked, ridiculing the buildup created in political circles and the media ahead of KTR’s address.

Taking his criticism a notch further, the MP quipped, “If he thought he was dropping a hydrogen bomb, he didn't even drop an onion bomb—something small children could play with.” He said the exaggerated anticipation around the press meet only highlighted the lack of real content presented by KTR.

Reddy also took aim at the level of promotion the press meet received, stating that “so much publicity was given for something that turned out to be completely hollow.” He accused the BRS leader of trying to distract the public with theatrics instead of addressing real issues facing the people of Telangana.

The MP’s remarks have added to the ongoing political war of words between the NDA and BRS leaders, with both sides intensifying their rhetoric as elections draw closer.
