The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up to take legal action against YSRCP leader and former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy for making allegedly false and defamatory claims about the SV Gaushala. TTD Dharmakartala Mandali has formally lodged a complaint with District SP Harsha Vardhan Raju seeking action.
TTD Board member Bhanuprakash Reddy accused Bhumana of spreading baseless propaganda that 100 cows had died in the cowshed and that the sacred Gaushala was turned into a slaughterhouse. Speaking to the media, Bhanuprakash strongly refuted these claims and stated that more cows had actually died during Bhumana’s own tenure as Chairman.
He alleged that the YSRCP administration mistreated cows, even feeding them worms, and that several irregularities occurred during that regime. Bhanuprakash emphasized that evidence exists to support these claims and added that the vigilance investigation into the past misdeeds at TTD is still ongoing.
Expressing outrage, he said that such misinformation was an insult to devotees' sentiments and the sanctity of the sacred Gaushala. He warned YSRCP leaders to stop politicizing issues related to Lord Govinda and cows and said TTD will not hesitate to act if any attempts are made to tarnish its spiritual and institutional integrity.
