Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana has confirmed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Amaravati on May 2 to participate in the resumption of capital construction work. Minister Narayana reviewed the arrangements for the visit with officials and inspected the venue where the assembly will be held.
During the review, Narayana emphasized the need for flawless arrangements, particularly for security, as PM Modi’s visit will last only about 90 minutes. He revealed that 8 routes have been identified for the Prime Minister's convoy, and 11 areas are being designated for parking vehicles.
Narayana also mentioned that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu plans to honor a few farmers from Amaravati, who have faced difficulties over the past five years, in the presence of the Prime Minister. Discussions are ongoing with local public representatives regarding additional land pooling, with the government ensuring that pooling will only occur with the consent of the people. If necessary, alternative plans for land acquisition will be considered.
