Game Changer and Daku Maharaj Movies: PIL Filed in Andhra Pradesh High Court Against Ticket Price Hike
A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court challenging the Andhra Pradesh government's decision to allow a hike in the ticket prices for the upcoming films Game Changer and Daku Maharaj. These two films, which are set to release during the Sankranti festival, have generated significant buzz among moviegoers.
Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by the sensational filmmaker Shankar, is a political action thriller that is set to release globally on January 10. On the other hand, Daku Maharaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Bobby Kolli, is another highly anticipated film scheduled for release on January 12.
The Andhra Pradesh government recently approved an increase in ticket prices for these two films. This decision was met with opposition, and the PIL filed in the High Court argues that the government's order violates existing regulations. The petitioner has requested that the government’s order be revoked, citing the violation of rules regarding ticket pricing.
The court will now examine the petition and decide on the matter.
