Key Development in PDS Rice Missing Case Involving Former Minister Perni Nani's Godown

A major development has emerged in the case involving missing PDS rice from a godown owned by former minister Perni Nani during the previous YSRCP government's tenure in Andhra Pradesh. Investigations carried out by the current TDP-Janasena-BJP coalition government have revealed that large quantities of PDS rice, in hundreds of quintals, were diverted from their intended distribution.

As part of the ongoing investigation into the case of missing ration rice from Perni Nani's godown, key developments have taken place. The accused, currently arrested and housed in the Machilipatnam Sub Jail, were transferred to a government hospital for medical examinations. After the medical check-ups, they were brought back into custody.

The arrested individuals, identified as A2, A4, and A5, were transported in a special police vehicle to the Taluka Police Station for further interrogation. It is reported that the suspects are being questioned about the diversion of PDS rice, and investigators are working to extract detailed information regarding the case. The questioning is expected to continue until 5 PM, with further updates anticipated based on the revelations during the inquiry.
