Alert for Students: Sankranti Holidays Starting from Friday in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has announced a delightful update for students. Starting this Friday, January 10, all educational institutions across the state will begin their Sankranti holidays.
As per the academic calendar, the holidays will start on January 10, with the government informing school managements accordingly. The holidays will last until January 19, with schools reopening on January 20.
However, Christian schools will have Sankranti holidays from January 11 to 15. While there were initially rumors about a reduction in the duration of the holidays, the Chandrababu Naidu government has confirmed that the holidays will remain as originally planned, lasting nearly ten days.
