A horrific road accident occurred in Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh, resulting in the death of two people. The incident took place in the Chandragiri mandal area on the early morning of Monday. According to local reports, a group of devotees was walking towards Tirumala, when an ambulance, coming at high speed from behind, lost control and crashed into the pilgrims.
The collision tragically claimed the lives of two devotees on the spot. Police arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to the local government hospital for post-mortem. Preliminary investigations suggest that the accident was caused due to foggy conditions on the road. The police have registered a case based on the complaint of the victims' families and are continuing their investigation into the incident.
