A crucial cabinet meeting of the Andhra Pradesh government is set to take place on January 17 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting will be held at the Secretariat, as confirmed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Vijay Anand in a notification.

Ahead of the cabinet meeting, Vijay Anand has directed all special chief secretaries, principal secretaries, and secretaries of various departments to submit their proposals by January 16.

The meeting is expected to focus on several important topics, with key discussions anticipated regarding the allocation of liquor shops to the communities of Gita workers, as well as matters concerning the pricing of alcoholic beverages. Additionally, there are indications that the cabinet will discuss CM Chandrababu Naidu's upcoming visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum, set for January 18.

During the previous cabinet meeting held on January 2, the council had approved 14 significant proposals, marking a notable progression in the state’s governance.
