Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has praised the Bhubharati 2020 Act, stating that it has gained public approval and is widely appreciated for benefiting farmers. Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the Revenue Diary, organized by the Telangana Revenue Employees Services Association, Minister Ponguleti acknowledged the positive reception of the act and its role in supporting farmers.
The Minister also highlighted the ongoing efforts to resolve employee issues and assured that the transfers and postings of tahsildars would be completed by the upcoming Sankranti festival. He mentioned that instructions were given to the Revenue Department's Chief Secretary to forward the related files.
Although the new village revenue system and the 33 posts of Selection Grade Deputy Collectors could not be approved in the last cabinet meeting due to time constraints, Minister Ponguleti assured that the Cabinet would approve them in the future. He urged employees to work with integrity and dedication to enhance the reputation of the government, promising that the Revenue Department would ensure justice for farmers.
