TPN , Hyderabad : Prominent producer Dil Raju described the recent meeting with Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy as a "big challenge" for the Telugu film industry. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Dil Raju stated that the focus was on elevating Telugu cinema to a global level, leaving behind discussions about ticket rates, benefit shows, and Sankranthi movie releases.
"The CM has asked us to provide suggestions for attracting Hollywood productions to Hyderabad. The discussions centered entirely on how to grow the industry globally," Dil Raju revealed. He emphasized that Telugu cinema is earning respect nationwide and now aims to expand its footprint internationally.
Dil Raju clarified that there was no deliberation on ticket rates or benefit shows during the meeting. "Sankranthi movies and ticket pricing are not important at this point. Our discussions are directed towards creating a global platform for Telugu cinema," he remarked.
The meeting showcased the government's commitment to working with the industry for its growth. Dil Raju expressed confidence in the collaborative efforts to position Hyderabad as a key destination for international film productions, marking a new chapter for Telugu cinema.
