TPN , Hyderabad: On Thursday evening, heavy rainfall hit various parts of Hyderabad, causing significant disruptions for city residents. Despite the holiday, traffic jams were reported across several areas as people struggled to make their way home after work. The rain affected areas like Hayat Nagar, Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Nagole, Uppal, Habsiguda, Secunderabad, Tank Bund, Khairatabad, Banjara Hills, Somajiguda, Mehdipatnam, and many more.
The day began with overcast skies, and by evening, the rain poured down, accompanied by chilly winds that made residents feel the drop in temperature. Some found comfort in the cool breeze, while others faced challenges due to the wet conditions.
The Hyderabad Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate rainfall to continue across the state through Friday. Additionally, it predicted the possibility of fog formation in some districts during the early morning hours in the next five days. The department also noted that minimum temperatures could be 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above normal during this period.
